REGISTRATION

Registrations open late March to all persons interested in the 65th Annual Conference of the New Zealand Association of Economists.
​
All persons attending the conference must complete an online registration form. Please read the following information before you complete the online registration form. Please note all fees will be processed in New Zealand Dollars [NZD] and include GST (15%). To view the current foreign exchange rates, please visit www.x-rates.com.

All registrations must be paid in full via online credit card payment.

EARLY-BIRD REGISTRATIONS
To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by 14 May 2025.
MEMBER REGISTRATIONS
To qualify for member rates, you must be a current financial member of the New Zealand Association of Economists.
STUDENT REGISTRATIONS
A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognized tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card (submitted in English). Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. A copy of your student identification card may be required at the time of onsite registration to qualify for the student rate. Without this, the full registration fee will be charged.

PROCEDURE

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
Your registration and payment will be confirmed via email upon completion and successful payment. This email will include an overview of your requirements according to your registration form, and payment receipt.
NAME BADGE
All delegates will receive a name badge upon onsite check-in at the event. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to workshop and conference sessions, and social functions.
DELEGATE CONDUCT
The conference managers expect delegates to behave in a professional, respectful manner throughout the event. As such, the conference managers reserve the right to revoke the registration and privileges of anyone who is deemed in breach of this code of conduct.
COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABILITY
The organisers aim to minimise our impact on the environment. Please bring your own reusable coffee cup, water bottle, pen and notepad.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
ONLINE CREDIT CARD
The NZAE registration payment method is via online credit card. Accepted credit cards are Visa and MasterCard. Please note all transactions will appear on your statement as ‘On-Cue’. You will receive a receipt automatically with your email confirmation. Our online credit card gateway is provided by Stripe.

INTERNATIONAL & OUTSTANDING FEES
All fees must be received in New Zealand dollars equal to the total amount required on your tax invoice, including all bank fees. If any bank fees are deducted during the electronic transfer the Organisers reserve the right to collect any outstanding bank fees from the attendee at the time of onsite registration. Failure to pay any outstanding fees may result in the cancellation of your registration.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Manager, shelley@on-cue.co.nz.
CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION
-
Cancelled registrations on or before 14 May 2025 will receive a full refund of registration fees, less an administration fee of $100.
-
Cancelled registrations after 15 May 2025 will not be possible unless exceptional circumstances prevail and are at the discretion of the committee
-
Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but please advise OnCue of any name change, for administration purposes.
-
There will be no refunds for any booked delegate who does not attend on the day.
-
All refunds will be processed after the conference. ​

VISA ISSUES
The Organisers take no responsibility for failed visa applications and the current refund policy applies to all attendees.

CANCELLATION OF CONFERENCE

DISCLAIMER
In the event of industrial disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances that disrupt the conference, the conference organisers accept no responsibility.
The information on the conference website and in the printed collateral is correct at the time of publication. However, the conference organisers reserve the right to change information.
If, for reasons beyond the control of the organising committee, the conference is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred.
onCue accept no responsibility for changes and/or cancellations made by the service provider. onCue disclaim any and all liability to any person in respect of the consequences of any failure to operate, accident or injury which may occur on services reserved and ticketed by onCue or where operator error or accident is the cause.
INSURANCE

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include, but not limited to:

Loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Conference or through the cancellation of the Conference,

Loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason,
-
Loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia,
-
Failure to utilise tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay,
-
Force Majeure or any other reason,
-
Medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover),
-
Loss or damage to personal property,
-
Additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered,
-
Medical expenses.

The Organisers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
PRIVACY POLICY

New Zealand operates under the Privacy Act 1993. The objective of these is to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

Australia operates under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), as amended, and the Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches), 2017. The objective of these is to protect the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

Europe operates under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. The GDPR aims primarily to give protection to citizens over their personal data. The legislation was adopted on 27 April 2016.
The Organisers comply with these legislations and are committed to protecting the right of the individual to privacy of their information.

If you believe that any information, we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us and we will promptly correct the information. You may also withdraw your consent for use of your information by advice to us in writing.

We require your information to facilitate the provision of information to you regarding the Conference and to facilitate your participation in the Conference. Information collected in respect of your proposed participation in any aspect of the Conference will be used for the purposes listed below. Please indicate your preferences when completing your registration form but please note that we will be unable to forward any information relating to the Conference or to communicate with you regarding your registration if you select ‘no’ to point 1.

The parties who will have access to your information (subject to your preference selections on above points) are the Conference Managers, the Conference host organisation (points 1 and point 4), delegates, sponsors and exhibitors of the Conference (point 2) and any future organisers of the Conference (point 3).

The parties mentioned above will rely on your above consent indications for the purposes of compliance.

You may withdraw your granular consent at any time by notice in writing to the Conference Managers.
